On "The Last Remnant" How Do You Beat the Mantroskylo?

Mantroskylo in "The Last Remnant" is worthy adversary. Defeating this monster will earn you great rewards and complete the Wisdom's Echo side-quest in this role-playing game designed for the Xbox 360 and PC. You will face Mantroskylo twice, but the first encounter, in "The Hero" side-quest, is easy and gives a false impression of the monster. When you encounter Mantroskylo in the "Wisdom's Echo" side-quest, you will see his true might, especially because he brings an ally called the Spiritlord. According to several guides and walkthroughs, you should be at least level 40 before tackling this monster.

Instructions

1. Click the "Skip Turn" button to avoid attacking with any of your characters for the first turn. If you attack any of the monsters in the opening round, Spiritlord will cast a form of curse magic on one your members, severely handicapping them for the remainder of the battle.

2. Begin attacking Mantroskylo. The two monsters have similar health, so you will be better off just attacking Mantroskylo because the battle ends immediately upon his death. Mantroskylo has around 50,000 health, so be prepared for a long fight.

3. Use potions to keep your health up throughout the fight. After a few rounds of fighting and using potions to keeping your health up, Mantroskylo should fall in defeat.
