How to Convert JPG to PCT or PCX
JPG files are one of the most commonly used file formats for pictures. Converting JPG to other formats such as PCT and PCX can be done using most image-editing software. Adobe Photoshop is an excellent option for converting JPG files. Photoshop is free to download (30-day trial) and supports a wide variety of picture formats for users to chose from. Converting picture files takes seconds to do and users can adjust quality and other image options.

Download a free, trial copy of Adobe Photoshop. Install the program using the step-by-step install wizard.

Import the JPG file into Photoshop. Click "File," then "Open." Use the explorer window to locate the JPG file and double-click it to open it in Photoshop.

Click "File," "Save As." This will bring up the "Save As" window.

Select the "Format" the new file should be saved as. There are dozens of file formats to chose from, including PCX and PCT. Select a directory to save the file to and click "Save." The JPG file will be saved as the new format.
