How to Attach a Dangle to a Glass Charm

A glass charm consists of a loop of beaded wire that is hooked around the stem of a wine glass. Glass charms are placed on a person's glass to identify it during a party. The beaded charm is attached to the stem of the glass, and since the beads of the charms are different colors, each person has her own color that identifies her glass. Attach dangles or hanging beads to glass charms and use them on wine glasses at your next party.

Instructions

    • 1

Cut a loop off of the memory wire with memory wire cutters. Place one end of the wire 3/8 of an inch in on the bottom jaw of the round nosed pliers. Bend the wire end around the round jaw of the pliers to make an open loop or hook.

    • 2

Add four beads to the wire in alternating colors of a pattern of your choice. Slide the dangle charm hoop onto the wire. Add four more beads to the wire in the same pattern.

    • 3

Bend the other end of the wire into an open loop or hook with the round nosed pliers. Slip one loop or hook onto the other to close it off. To put it on a wine glass, simply unhook it, slide it around the stem of the glass, and then hook the open loops back together.
