Spybot Search & Destroy is a malware detection and removal program that you can download and install free of charge over the Internet. The program specializes in finding spyware, which are tracking programs installed by websites and infected email attachments that can observe your online activity, transmit information without your knowledge or consent and also slow down your computer's overall performance. If you do not have an Internet connection to download Spybot, you'll need a portable storage device to transfer the program to your computer from another computer that has Internet access.

Locate another computer that has an Internet connection and allows you to download files.

Download Spybot Search & Destroy from their website. The install program should download within several minutes, depending on the quality of the Internet connection. Save the install file to an easy to find location on the computer, such as the desktop.

Plug a flash drive into an available USB port on the computer.

Click "Start" and select "Computer." Click on the icon for the Spybot install program and drag it over to the icon for your flash drive. The program will move over to the portable drive.

Click on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon and unplug the flash drive from the computer.

Plug the flash drive into an available USB port on the computer where you want to install Spybot.

Click "Start," select "Computer" and click on the icon for the flash drive. Drag the Spybot install file to the desktop of your computer.

Click on the install file to install the Spybot program to your computer. It will not be able to update its malware definitions without an Internet connection but it will still be able to locate and delete a large number of malicious spyware programs.
