      Go to the website of the Lancaster County (see Resources). Choose "Property Assessment" in the drop down menu of departments.

      Choose "Online Search/Property Search" on the left hand side of the screen. Select "GIS Property Search" under "Online Services."

      Select "GIS Property Search" or "Property Assessment Search." Both are search engines that will provide you with names of property owners.

      Search by owner name, property address, or property identification number. Click "Submit."

      Go to the Lancaster County Recorder of Deed's office to review property deeds if you do not want to search online. The office staff will help you find copies of deeds. Each page will cost $0.25 as of May 2011.
