How to Change the Caller ID Name on a Family Plan

Save

Phones on a family plan have the same caller identification name no matter the number. The account holder can change the name displayed on caller ID to any name he desires. Your phone service provider may set limits to what you can change your display name to, including banning profanity. The method for changing your caller identification will vary depending on your service provider. There is no fee associated with changing the display name on your phone account.
