Burning music to a CD is a common task for almost anyone that listens to music nowadays. To make this as easy as possible, Windows 7 allows users to burn music CDs directly from their music library in Windows Media Player.

      Insert a blank CD or DVD. Click the "Start" button, select "All Programs," and then "Windows Media Player."

      Press the "Library" button in the upper-right corner of the Windows Media Player screen if Windows Media Player is currently in "Now Playing" mode.

      Select the "Burn" tab.

      Click the "Burn Options" button in the upper-right corner of the burn panel, and then select "Audio CD."

      Drag songs from your music library into the burn list to add them to your CD. Right-click songs and select "Remove from list" to remove them again, or click and drag them to rearrange the order of the songs.

      Click the "Start burn" button to begin burning your music to disk. This may take several minutes.
