How to Make Firefox Tabs Go to Title Bar

A common complaint about earlier versions of Mozilla Firefox is the wasted space in the browser's title bar. Mozilla heeded users' requests and moved the tab bar up into the title bar in Firefox 4. However, this feature is only present when the browser windows is maximized. If the tabs are not in the title bar, then Firefox is in windowed mode, rather than maximized. There are several ways to maximize your Firefox window.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the top-right maximize button in the Firefox window. This button is the rectangular icon located to the left of the red "X" button.

    • 2

Hold the "Windows" key and press the up arrow to maximize your Firefox window.

    • 3

Double-click the Firefox title bar to maximize the window.
