How to Burn an NRG File to a DVD Disc Using Nero Burning ROM

Burn a disc image with Nero.

Use Nero Burning ROM to burn a DVD NRG image file to a DVD. An NRG file is the proprietary image file type for Nero. As long as the image is a DVD image, and not a CD image, Nero Burning ROM will burn the image to a DVD disc. Check the size of the image if you do not know whether or not it is a DVD image. If the image size is greater than 800 MB, the file is probably a DVD image.

Things You'll Need

• Blank DVD
• Nero Burning ROM
• NRG image

Instructions

1. Insert the blank DVD into the CD/DVD burner on the computer.

2. Open the Nero Burning ROM program.

3. Click "File" on the top navigation bar of Nero, and then click "Burn Disk Image" from the file menu. A file navigation window opens.

4. Click "Browse" and navigate to the NRG file. Click the file to load.

5. Click "Burn." The NRG image is burned to DVD.
