How to Get Rid of Mozilla Themes

The Mozilla Organization is an opensource software developer that specializes in cross-platform productivity tools, such as the Firefox Web browser and Thunderbird email client. Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird platform users have the option of installing various program add-ons, extensions and themes, designed to enhance productivity or allow appearance customizations for the program's GUI. Removing an unwanted appearance theme add-on from Mozilla Firefox or Thunderbird is an easy task that only takes a minute to complete.

Instructions

Firefox

1. Open the Firefox Web browser.

2. Click on the "Tools" menu option. Click "Add-ons" from the drop-down menu, followed by the "Appearance" tab.

3. Examine the themes listed in the browser window. Click on the "Remove" button next to the them you wish to uninstall.

4. Click on the "Restart now" link to restart Firefox and revert back to the default theme.

Thunderbird

1. Open the Thunderbird email client.

2. Click on the "Add-ons" option, located within the "Tools" menu.

3. Click on the "Themes" tab and examine the installed themes listed within the left-hand menu pane.

4. Click on the theme you wish to uninstall. Click on the "Uninstall" button listed next to the theme.

5. Restart Thunderbird to revert to the original theme.
