How to Draw a Light Bulb in a Circuit
The simplest way to generate electricity can be made though one complete circuit. All you need is a battery with positive and negative ends and a light-bulb. When you connect wires from both ends of the battery to the base of the light-bulb you will create a closed circuit. The electrons stored in the battery will move through the wires and when they reach the light-bulb they generate electricity, which then lights up the bulb.

1
Draw two cylinders on opposite sides of the page. The cylinder on the left side should be larger in length and width than the one on the right.
-
2
Make a small horizontal oval on top of the cylinder on the left and fill it in with the side of your pencil.
-
-
3
Draw and open ended cylinder on top of the small cylinder on the right. The cylinder should be smaller than the one it's resting on. Erase any lines that overlap.
-
4
Draw a light bulb extending upward out of the open ended cylinder. To make a light bulb draw an oval with two vertical lines extending down from the base of the oval.
-
5
Draw two diagonal lines inside the light bulb. They should come closer together as they near the base of the bulb and stop as they read the top line of the cylinder.
-
6
Connect the top of the two diagonal lines with a short jagged line.
-
7
At the base of the small cylinder draw a horizontal, narrow oval that overlaps half way into the cylinder. Erase any over lapping lines the oval creates.
-
8
Draw two short vertical lines extending down from either end of the oval. Connect the ends of the two short lines with a curved line parallel to the oval.
-
9
Draw a small half circle protruding from the left side of the oval base and darken it with your pencil. Draw another half circle on the opposite side of the oval but do not darken it.
-
10
Draw a thick line from the dark half circle to the small oval on the other cylinder. Draw thin line from the other half circle to the base of the large cylinder.
