      Launch AVS Video Converter and click the "Devices" tab at the top of the AVS toolbar. Press the "Apple" button.

      Click the upper "Browse" button, opposite the "Input File Name" box. Find your input video in the pop-up search screen, highlight its icon, then click "Open" to load it in AVS Video Converter.

      Choose an output save location by clicking the lower "Browse" button, opposite the "Output File Name" box. Name your file, then click "OK" to return to the main program screen.

      Click the "Advanced" button next to the "Profile" field, then press the "Conversion Options" tab. Select an alternate video codec, frame size, or bitrate in the "Output File" panel, depending on your needs. Click "Save Current Setup As Profile" to return to the main screen.

      Click the "Convert Now!" button in the lower-right corner of the main screen to begin the conversion.

Tips & Warnings

  • Larger bit-rates will heighten your audio and video's quality, but will take up more space on your hard drive.
