How to Save Beats on Fruity Loops 6 Demos

The demo version of FL Studio 6, or "FruityLoops," allows you to render audio from your current project to MP3, OGG or WAV files. FL Studio provides users with a virtual studio environment, which allows them to record audio and sequences with software-based instruments and effects. The only limitation the demo version has is that a saved project file cannot be reopened unless the software has been registered. The rendered audio files can still be opened in other programs, and can be exported in less than ten minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "File" from the menu bar at the top of the screen, then select "Save As" from the pop-out menu. The "Save As" dialog box will now appear, allowing you to determine how the audio file will be saved.

    • 2

Select the destination on your hard drive for the rendered audio file from the 'Save In" box, then enter a name for the file in the "File Name" box. Choose the the type of saved file in the box below, such as WAV, OGG or MP3, then click the "Save" button.

    • 3

Select the output format, such as WAV, OGG or MP3, again on the "Rendering to" screen that appears, and select the bit depth, sample rate, and other attributes of the file to be rendered from the appropriate boxes on that screen as well.

    • 4

Click "Start" to begin rendering the beat and saving it to your computer's hard drive. The amount of time that this process will take to complete will vary, depending on the length of the musical piece and the desired quality.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once an FLV project has been saved in FL Studio demo mode, you will not be able to open it again until you have purchased and registered the software.
