How to Stop a YouTube Queue From Looping

Prevent YouTube from playing videos from a playlist more than once by clicking the Repeat Playlist icon either in the mobile app or on the desktop YouTube website.

Mobile App

Step 1

Load one of your own playlists by tapping the triple-bar icon to open the Guide and touching the playlist's name. Alternatively, load a playlist created by visiting another user's YouTube channel and selecting Playlists. Select a playlist and touch the Play icon to start playing the first video.

Tap the downward-pointing arrow next to the playlist name to reveal the playlist options.

Tap the Repeat Playlist icon to disable looping and touch the upward-pointing arrow to close the menu.

Tip

    • A gray Repeat Playlist icon indicates that looping is disabled for the selected playlist. Conversely, a bright white icon indicates that looping is currently enabled.
    • To disable or enable Shuffle mode, tap the Shuffle icon before closing the menu.

Desktop Website

Step 1

Visit YouTube in your Web browser and load a playlist. Click Play All.

Disable looping for the selected playlist by clicking the Repeat Playlist icon to have YouTube stop playing videos when it reaches the end of the playlist.
