T-Mobile is a cell phone carrier that offers a wide array of handsets, including the BlackBerry Curve. If you own an older BlackBerry Curve that is not 3G capable, you will have to upgrade your device with T-Mobile. You can upgrade your device by visiting the T-Mobile website. The site contains an upgrade section for existing customers. Once you receive your device, you must follow the instructions in the package to set up the device. For example, you will have to insert the device's SIM card.

Instructions

      Log in to the T-Mobile website (see Resources). Click "Upgrade Phone" and select the appropriate MSIDN (account holder), if necessary. There may be multiple accounts on a single line.

      Click "See More Details" under the BlackBerry Curve that has 3G capability. Read the pricing and other options listed. Select the device and click "Add to Cart."

      Select a shipping option and agree to the Terms and Conditions. Enter your email address and click "Submit Order."

      Complete the electronic signature process, if required. This option is only required if you are paying for the phone in installments. Agree to the Terms and Conditions. Click "Continue."

      Review the order and select "Start Electronic Signature." Read the Terms and Conditions for the installment plan and type your name. Click "Finish."
