How to Turn on AutoRun for DVD Drives in XP
Microsoft Windows XP is highly configurable and allows the user to tailor settings to suit their specific needs. For example, "AutoRun," also known as "AutoPlay" in Windows XP, may be turned on or off for CD and DVD drives, as well as other removable media drives. Enable "AutoPlay" from within the Windows Explorer file manager. When Windows Explorer is launched, the CD/DVD drive will be listed in the left navigation pane.
