Wi-Fi is the iPod touch's only method of connecting to the Internet.

When you connect your iPod touch to a Wi-Fi network, the device keeps a record of the connection for future use. While this is useful in the event that you need to reconnect to that specific connection, it can be disrupting if the device continually tries to connect to a connection that you no longer have access to. Avoid this problem by deleting that specific Wi-Fi network from your iPod touch.

Instructions

    • 1

Tap the "Settings" button on the iPod touch home screen to open the Settings window.

    • 2

Tap the "Wi-Fi" option to bring up a list of available Wi-Fi networks.

    • 3

Tap the blue arrow to the right of the Wi-Fi network that you want to delete, followed by the "Forget this Network" button. The iPod touch deletes the network from the device's memory.
