The Motorola Droid is a smartphone, which runs Google's Android operating system. The Droid is a trademark of Lucas Films and is distributed by Verizon Wireless and Boost Mobile. When you purchase a Motorola Droid, you will have to insert a SIM card into it as part of the setup process. A SIM card identifies you as a unique subscriber on the phone network. The slot for the SIM card is hidden above the battery.
Remove the cover from your Droid.
Remove the battery.
Locate the SIM card slot, which is above the slot for the battery.
Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot with the brass pins facing inward.
Tips & Warnings
- Don't force the SIM card into the slot; it could get damaged. The card should slide gently into place.
