How to Check the Memory on an ASUS Laptop


Computer memory, called RAM, is what runs the short term memory required to run computer's programs, files and games. In modern operating systems that ASUS uses in its laptops, finding the amount of memory used on the computer is located in the System menu. This menu lists all of the major specifications of an ASUS laptop. Besides the memory, the system type and processor are also listed.

  • Click the "Start" button.

  • Click "Control Panel."

  • Open "System and Security" by clicking on it.

  • Click "View amount of RAM and processor speed" under the "System" section. Look at the number beside "Installed memory (RAM)." That is the memory installed on the ASUS laptop.
