How to Display Photos on Facebook

One of the key features of the social networking Web site Facebook is the ability for its users to upload and display photos to share with friends. Once you've uploaded a photo you can "tag" any friends who appear in it thus making the photo available on their pages too. Displaying new photos on your Facebook page is a simple process that takes only a few minutes to achieve. Depending on what you wish to upload you can add a single photo or entire album.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to the Facebook Web site and log into your account by typing your email address and Facebook password into the appropriate boxes in the top right corner of the screen.

    • 2

Click "Profile" on the right of the horizontal menu bar across the top of your account then press "Photos" on the vertical menu along the left side of the screen.

    • 3

Press "Create an Album" to begin to prepare a new Facebook photo album. Press "Select Photos" to browse your computer's hard drive to find the photos you display in the album. Once you've selected your photos by holding the "Ctrl" button on PCs or the "Command" key on Macs, press "Open."

    • 4

Type a name for the photo in the designated window and adjust the privacy settings dependent on which contacts you want to be able to see the photo album.

    • 5

Press the "Create an Album" button once the photos have uploaded, and your photo album will be displayed on your Photos pages and, for a short time, on your news feed and your friends' news feeds.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you've uploaded the photos you can tag people in your Friends list by clicking "Tag this Photo" and selecting your friends' names.
