How to Write a Letter to a Placement Agency Requesting a Suitable Position


If you decide to ask an employment or placement agency to help you find a job, you can send to agencies a letter and a copy of your resume. Your letter should contain key points about your qualifications and should be attached to your resume. It should also state the type of job you want.

  • Look up placement agency information. Find several placement agencies to send letters to. These can be found by looking in newspapers, in the phone book or online.   • Close the letter. Express that you have heard that the placement agency has a good record for matching people with jobs and that you would love to have an interview with them. Thank the reader for taking the time to read the letter and note that your resume is attached. Sign the letter and send off the packet.
