A bad haircut: it happens to almost everyone at some point. Maybe you decided to try something new and daring, only to walk out of the salon disappointed. Then again, maybe you took the do-it-yourself route and accidentally created choppy, messy, or uneven bangs, instead of the look you wanted. However it happened, it's time to get your bangs fixed. Does this Spark an idea?

Return to the hairstylist, if you had your bangs cut professionally. Ask the stylist to fix the problem and, if possible, create the side-swept look you had wanted in the first place. There should be no charge for this service. You may prefer to have the problem fixed by a different stylist instead. If you tried to cut the bangs yourself and made a mistake, seek out a hairstylist to let him fix the problem.

Twist the bangs back or clip them to the side of your head, if you aren't able to get to a hairstylist right away. This works well, as long as the bangs are still long enough. Use bobby pins to secure the hair.

Use a headband, if you find that the side-swept bangs turned out far too short and can't be fixed until grown out. It is difficult to make too-short bangs work, since there is not enough length to work with. A strategically placed headband can hold the bangs back and hide them with ease. You may need to continue this, until the hair grows long enough to clip back or style again.
