How to Delete a BlueJay Account

The Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball team lets its website users create a personal account containing profile and TV subscription information. MLB centrally manages accounts for all baseball teams but deleting your account isn't as straightforward as other websites. You must personally contact MLB with your account details, and then follow links in promotional emails before your account is completely inactive.

Instructions

    • 1

Call Major League Baseball on 866-800-1275 with your account information. Tell the website operator you want to delete your account. MLB keeps some information from your account for record-keeping purposes even when your account is closed.

    • 2

Check your email for MLB or Toronto Blue Jays newsletters. A link at the bottom of the email lets you remove your email address from the MLB mailing list. The league keeps your email address on file for newsletters after you close your account.

    • 3

Follow the link and confirm you want to opt out of MLB newsletters. Once the league deletes your account you are completely removed from the Toronto Blue Jays website and you will no longer receive email updates.
