How to Freeze Popcorn
Popcorn kernels contain moisture that causes them to burst when heated. Retaining the moisture in the kernels is an important part of storage. When popcorn kernels dry out, the result is the unpopped popcorn - often referred to as old maids. Popcorn kernels that will be popped shortly after purchase can be safely stored in the pantry. But if you want to store your popcorn for an extended length of time, the freezer is your best option. Does this Spark an idea?
