How to Convert a PDF to Kindle's Mobile Format
Each Kindle comes with a specific and customizable email address, to which users can send documents. This Personal Document Service is free, as long as the document is transmitted to the Kindle via a Wi-Fi connection. A small fee applies for 3 G transfers. It is through Kindle's Personal Document Service that you can convert PDF files -- which are also viewable on the Kindle without conversion -- into the Kindle format.
