While there are several symbols on your keyboard that you can see and easily insert into your document by typing them, there are a number of other symbols and signs that you may want to insert into your document that are not visible on the keyboard. You must know some keyboard shortcuts to be able to enter many of these symbols, such as an arrow pointing up, into your document.
Open the document page on which you want to include an arrow pointing up.
Click on the location of the page where you want to insert the arrow.
Type "2191," then hold the "Alt" and "X" keys. The up arrow appears.
