Use the tools on your computer to prevent Fling from loading.

If you find websites, such as Fling, to be intrusive, you have the option to prevent your browser from loading them. Various browsers give you the tools to indicate which sites are banned; and your Windows computer operating system gives you the ability to edit the host file, which stops all browsers from loading banned sites. Understand how to use the features on your browser and computer to block Fling.

Bring up your Firefox browser and click the "Add-ons" option under the "Tools" menu. Click the "Get Add-ons" tab and then enter "block site" in the "Search all add-ons" text field. Press the "Enter" or "Return" button on your keyboard to continue.

Click the "Preferences" link next to the add-on you installed in the dialog window that automatically appears. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter the Fling website. Add-ons work differently depending on the one you choose; but generally, you click an "Add" feature, enter the desired site in the text field that displays and click an "OK" button to preserve your settings.
