How to Get the Bracelet That Makes You Stronger in "Ocarina of Time"

In "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," players control the character Link on his journey to save the kingdom of Hyrule from the evil Ganondorf. To progress through the game, players must solve puzzles with a variety of equipment, including boomerangs, bombs, a slingshot and the Goron Bracelet -- a bracelet that greatly increases the wearer's strength. Equipping the Goron Bracelet allows Link to pull bomb flowers from the ground and blow up the boulder that blocks access to Dodongo Cavern.

Instructions

    • 1

Follow the Death Mountain trail from Kakariko Village to Goron City. Goron City is in the northeast corner of Hyrule, in a small cave at the top of Death Mountain.

    • 2

Descend the stairs to the lowest floor of the city. Stand on the mat in front of the sealed door and equip your ocarina. Play "Zelda's Lullaby" on the ocarina to trigger a cut scene and open the door. Link can learn "Zelda's Lullaby" by speaking to Impa after first meeting Princess Zelda in the Hyrule Castle Courtyard. To perform "Zelda's Lullaby" on Link's ocarina, perform the following sequence of moves on your controller's directional pad: left, up, right, left, up, right.

Walk through the open door and speak to King Darunia. After a short dialogue finishes, he will request a nature-themed song from you. Play "Saria's Song" for him on your ocarina. Link can learn "Saria's Song" from Saria in the Sacred Forest Meadow after successfully navigating the Lost Woods maze. To perform "Saria's Song" on the ocarina, peform the following sequence of moves on your controller's directional pad: down, right, left, down, right, left. After a cut scene of King Darunia dancing finishes, he will give you the Goron Bracelet.

  • Link must already have learned "Saria's Song" and "Zelda's Lullaby" to obtain the Goron Bracelet.
