Instructions

    • 1

Measure the length and width of the area you want to drape with gossamer. Add 4 to 8 feet of length and width to that measurement to achieve the proper drape. Two layers of gossamer will be more opaque than sheer, so double the amount of gossamer if you don't want a sheer look.

    • 2

Secure the gossamer to the desired wall or ceiling with a staple gun. Secure it from the underside of the fabric so the gossamer hangs over the staple.

    • 3

Let out the gossamer by 1 foot and staple it to the wall again. If you're draping the gossamer from the ceiling allow it to balloon out by about 2 to 3 feet and staple it to the corner of the wall. Allow the rest of the gossamer to trail onto the floor.

Alternatively, wrap the gossamer up and over a curtain rod on each side. Pull both sides of the gossamer until they're equal in length and trail onto the floor. The middle of the gossamer should hang down in a "U" shape from the curtain rod.
