How to Repair the Memory Core in Mass Effect

Save

When you arrive at Peak 15 in Noveria-Mass Effect, the station's Virtual Intelligence (VI) has failed and you must restart it by accessing the memory core. The game offers you two options for restarting the VI. The first is using 100 omni-gel and the second is manually restarting the core by solving a block puzzle. If you don't have enough omni-gel, you must complete the puzzle, which involves moving four stacked blue blocks from the left column (X) to the right column (B). A middle column (Y) assists you. The blue blocks move horizontally and cannot enter a column if a higher block is present. You can only move the highest blue block in any column.

  • Press X to highlight the highest block in the X column, then press A to move it to A column.

  • Press X, then Y.

  • Press B, then Y.

  • Press X, then B.
