Connect your MacBook to an external monitor if you are sick and tired of viewing websites, emails and digital videos on your laptop's small screen. Mac laptops come equipped with a Mini DisplayPort that allows you to transfer the video from your computer to an external source. While the port is standard on the laptops, an additional Apple display adapter is required to connect cables to the port.
