1
Draw a 4 1/2-inch tall triangle with a 3-inch wide base on lightweight cardboard. Round each corner. Cut out the triangle shape. This is your candy corn pattern.
-
2
Cut open the sides of a brown paper grocery bag and lay it flat on your ironing surface, with the outside of the bag facing down. The outside of the bag will be the inside of your candy corn and referred to as the wrong side throughout the instructions. Iron the bag to smooth and flatten the folds.

3
Place the cardboard candy corn pattern on the paper and trace around it. Cut out the shape.
-
4
Lay the brown bag shape on your work surface with the wrong side facing up. Apply a thin line of craft glue on the triangle's side edges facing up. Do not apply glue on the 3-inch edge.
-
5
Turn the shape over and place it on the wrong side of your brown paper bag. Lay a scrap of muslin over the shape to protect your iron. Iron the shape to the bag. The heat will dry the glue and the pressure from the iron will create a flat, sealed seam. The bottom of the candy corn is not sealed. Cut around the shape. You now have a pocket.
-
6
Lay the candy corn pocket on your work surface with the point at the top. Measure down 1 1/2 inches from the point and lightly trace a horizontal line across the shape using a pencil. Measure down another 1 1/2 inches and trace another horizontal line. This will give you three sections. Turn the candy shape over and trace lines in the same way.
-
7
Paint the top section on one side of the candy shape using white acrylic paint. Paint the bottom section using yellow acrylic paint. Allow the two sections to dry. Paint the center section using orange acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry. Turn the shape over and paint the other side in the same way. Allow the paint to dry.

8
Open the bottom edge and lightly fill the pocket with stuffing. Apply a line of craft glue to the inside edge of the opening. Pinch the edges together and clip with two clothespins. Allow the glue to dry. Remove the clothespins.
