How to Turn Off Swype on a Droid X
The Motorola Droid X features a large screen and no physical keyboard, meaning that you must use a virtual keyboard to enter text. This particular phone comes with two virtual keyboards: Motorola's Multitouch keyboard and Swype, a keyboard that allows you to "draw" a word to enter it. If you're uncomfortable using the Swype keyboard, you can return to the Multitouch keyboard with a simple adjustment of Android's settings on the home screen.
