How to Make Your Own Silly Business Card
Before the Internet, business cards were only available from printing stores and were a lot more expensive than they are today. Now anyone can make them on their own computer for the cost of ink and card stock. Not only do people make regular business cards to use for work, they also make novelty and silly cards for fun. Software to create business cards is plentiful.

1
Open Word and click on "Mailings" then "Labels." Scroll through the drop down list under "Options" and choose "Business Cards." Business cards are typically 2 inches by 3.5 inches. Click on "New Document" and you will see a page with a grid demarcating ten business card-sized boxes.
-
2
Click in the first box. Click "Insert" then choose "Clip Art." A menu will appear with a keyword search box. Type in your keyword. If you are making a card with a picture of a dog on it, search "Dog" to bring up several pictures of dogs. Click on a silly picture of a dog and it will be displayed in the box on your screen. Use your own picture if desired. Click on the picture and resize with the arrows. Double click on the picture to bring up the picture tools and choose "Wrap Text" and "Through." This will enable you to move the picture around.

Go to "Insert" then choose "Word Art" or "Text Box" to add text to your business cards. Typically, your name will be first. Continue the silly theme by choosing a humorous name to go with the picture, for example "John Crazy Dog Smith."

4
Use the all-directional arrow to move the text box and put it wherever you want it to be placed on the card. Use the single arrow to resize it. Double click on the box to resize the text and change the font as necessary. Insert another text box and add your address or other verbiage if required. Add other pictures if you want. Copy the completed design into each of the other boxes on your screen.

5
Load pre-perforated business card stock into your printer. Print the business cards. If you prefer two-sided cards, use the same process to create another page to print on the back of your business cards. Once printed, pull the cards apart at the perforations. Alternatively you can use 110# plain card stock and cut the cards to size once they are printed.
