How to Update Old QuickBooks Files

As new versions of Intuit's Quickbooks software are released, files created on older versions become obsolete. However, the creators of Quickbooks have provided you with options for updating your existing files for use on any new version of the software. Rather than lose valuable files such as invoices, financial statements and transaction records, you can open old files with your new version and allow Quickbooks to automatically update each transaction. Once completed, you may save the file in the new format for further use.
