Instructions

      Plug in the Rival FoodSaver and open the lid of the device.

      Set the open end of the plastic roll on the surface of the sealer. Lift up the bag-cutter bar and set it over the bag material. Pull out enough material for the item to be sealed plus an additional 3 inches.

      Lower cutter bar and slide the bag cutter over the bar. Press "Seal" and use both hands to insert the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel until the clamp motor begins to operate. Remove the bag when the red light turns off.

      Set the desired food item into the open end of the bag and lay it flat, leaving at least 3 inches of space between the item and the open part of the bag.

      Use both hands to insert the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel until the clamp motor begins to operate. Hold on to the bag until the vacuum pump starts and then release the bag. Press "Seal" to begin the sealing process.

      Wait for the red light to go out and then remove the bag. Store as needed.

      Wait at least 20 seconds before using the FoodSaver again.
