Comcast allows each user to have up to 10 GB in her email accounts.

All Comcast high-speed Internet customers receive a complimentary email account with their service. A Comcast technician will create this account when he installs and activates your hardware and Internet service. If you have other members in your family, or you wish to have multiple accounts for yourself, you can log onto the Comcast website to create up to five secondary SmartZone user accounts, each of which has an email address of its own.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit comcast.com to access your account information. Notice that this is different from the comcast.net site you visit to retrieve your emails.

    • 2

Click "My Account" in the top right corner of the Web page and enter your credentials. Click "Sign In" to log into the page.

    • 3

Click the "Users & Settings" tab and click "Create Secondary User." This will be just below a drop-down box labeled "Choose a user account" near the top of the page.

    • 4

Enter the first and last name of the user under "Personal Information."

    • 5

Enter a user name, password, secret question and secret answer under "User name and password." Comcast provides a graphic to grade the strength of your password. Try to pick a complex password that registers as strong. Click "Next."

    • 6

Visit comcast.net to log into the SmartZone mailbox of your new user.
