How to Turn Off All AutoCorrect Suggestions in OpenOffice
Many writers have specific "problem" words that they always misspell or type incorrectly. The AutoCorrect function of the free open-source OpenOffice suite detects and automatically corrects typos and misspellings. It also expands abbreviations, capitalizes the first word of each sentence and deletes unneeded spaces and tabs. You can configure OpenOffice to turn AutoCorrect suggestions off completely, or you can configure the AutoCorrect options to correct only certain words and errors.
