How to Increase Your Blacksmithing in "WoW"
Blacksmithing is a crafting profession in "World of Warcraft" that allows you to make powerful items and armor. However, before you begin making epic weapons, you will need to spend a significant amount of time increasing your skills with less valuable items. Once you have picked up the blacksmithing skill at a profession trainer, you can begin the long trip towards mastering Blacksmithing.

Click the Blacksmithing icon on your character's spell sheet.

Browse the list of craftable items. Blacksmiths can make a wide range of things such as armor, swords, axes, and keys.

Select a yellow or orange item with relatively inexpensive or easy to find materials.

Gather the materials using the mining profession or purchase them from your local auction house.

Head to the closest anvil (usually found near a Blacksmithing trainer) and craft the item. Each successful item completion should award you with an increase in Blacksmithing skill.

Tips & Warnings
Leveling Blacksmithing from 1 to 450 is a time-consuming and expensive task. Ask guildmates for help, or start when your character is young to make the process more natural.
The difficulty of constructing a particular item is based on your current skill level. This difficulty is indicated by color and affects your chances at earning a skill point. For example, at Blacksmithing 10, a particular piece of armor could be written in orange text, meaning you will almost certainly earn a point for crafting it. Yellow text indicates that you may need to make a few of that item for a point, while green text means you may have to make a bunch. Try to focus on yellow or orange items to keep your material use efficient.
