Bullet lists provide Web pages with a format option to list several items down the page. You use CSS to format the indent space in the HTML pages. The indent can be set from zero, which does not indent the bullet list at all, to a large space. The amount of space you set for the indent depends on the style of your HTML pages.
Right-click the HTML page that contains the bullet list. Select "Open With" and then double-click the HTML editor in the list of programs. Use Notepad if you do not have a specific HTML editor.
Type "<style type="text/css"> </style>" between the "<head>" and "</head>" tags at the top of the HTML page. The "head" tags are at the top of the HTML code.
Type the following code within the "style" tags you created in step two:
In the above code, the indent margin is set as 10 pixels. Replace "10" with your own indent value.
Press the "Ctrl" key and then press "S" to save the file. Open the file in your Web browser to test the new margin settings.
