A Microsoft Office Brochure: How to Fold a Travel Brochure
An attractive travel brochure helps you to target readers and turn them into clients. For the brochure to look good, you must print it on high-quality paper and fold it properly. The number of folds depends on the number of panels in the brochure, which may vary depending on the designer's wishes. The layout of the text determines the folding process.

1
Pick a travel brochure template -- or another business services design, if you prefer -- from the Microsoft Office selection of brochures and download it to your computer. Replace the sample text and images in the template with your information. Print the brochure when you are satisfied with the content.
-
2
Count the number of panels in the brochure and the margins between them. The number of panels determines the number of folds that you have to make; you will use the margins between them to make these folds.
-
-
3
Place the brochure on a flat surface so that the back panel and the title panel are face down. Ensure that the text is facing up and the last column is on the right side.
-
4
Take the right edge of the brochure and fold it toward the left side. Fold it along the center of the margin between the last two columns. Run a bone folding tool along this edge for a smooth fold. The right edge of the brochure should rest in the middle of the next margin. If your brochure has only two panels, then the process is complete when you fold the brochure in half so the edges touch.
-
5
Fold the brochure at the middle of the next margin and toward the left side. You have now enclosed the first panel in this new fold. Run the bone tool along the edge of this fold also.
-
6
Repeat Step 5 until you have completely folded the brochure. Ensure that the front panel of the brochure, containing the title, is on top.
