Choose where you want to unload your soldiers or equipment and position your cargo spacecraft -- known as a dropship -- over the area where you want to drop your armed fighters or supplies. By dropping soldiers on the move you gain a crucial advantage over your enemy as your fighters are more spread out and less vulnerable to attack as they are not in one large group.
