How to Find My Purchases on Sims3
With the launch of "The Sims 3" for the PC came The Sims 3 store. This online store allows users to purchase new items for "The Sims 3." Items can be bought separately or in bundles, including such items as new electronics and furniture. To find your purchased item in "The Sims 3," you must install it using the launcher and then navigate to the correct section of the "Build" mode when in-game.

Double-click the Sims 3 icon on your desktop to start the launcher.

Click "Downloads" on the left side of the launcher.

Click the item you just bought from "The Sims 3" store.

Click "Install." The item will automatically install itself to the proper directories.

Click the "Play" icon from the launcher to start "The Sims 3."

Select the family you will play.

Click the "Build" icon, located on the lower-left side of the screen. This icon has a picture of a chair and lamp on it.

Navigate to the category of your purchased item to find it. For example, if your purchased item is a television, click the "Electronics" tab. Each purchased item from "The Sims 3" store has a green diamond on the lower-right side of its icon, denoting it as a Sims 3 store purchase.
