Restart your computer and press "F8" as the computer restarts, but before Windows loads. This opens the Advanced Boot Options window.

Right-click "Pdfupd.exe" in the search results and select "Delete." Repeat for "fifqsysguard.exe." This is the backup file that re-installs "Pdfupd.exe." If you don't get rid of this too, Pdfupd.exe will return.
