How to Fold Half-Fold Brochures

Create a simple half-fold brochure.

A half-fold brochure is one of the most common and simple types of brochure folds. The way it is folded is similar to how a book opens and closes. A half-fold brochure is ideal for product sheets, programs, takeout menus and handouts.

Instructions

1. Lay your brochure on a flat surface such as a desk or table. Be sure that the brochure is lying correctly and not upside down.

2. Take the left side of the paper and fold it over completely so that the top left corner meets the top right corner and the bottom left corner meets the bottom right corner. Hold in place.

3. Create a crease on the left side of the brochure by pressing down on the fold so that the paper is folded completely in half. You should be left with a brochure that opens and closes like a book would.
