How to Unfollow Users Who Are Not Following You on Twitter
If you're fed up with following Twitter users who never return the favor, then you might want to end the relationship and stop following them. You can unfollow a Twitter contact from the "Following" list on your Twitter profile. You can also remove a contact by clicking the "Unfollow" option on her Twitter profile page.

Launch your Web browser and sign in to Twitter.

Click the "Following" link under your Twitter username.

Find the Twitter user that you want to stop following.

Hover the mouse pointer over the green "Following" button beside the user's name until it changes to display a red "Unfollow" label and "X" mark. Click this button to stop following the user.

Find the Twitter user that you want to stop following. Click the username to open his profile page.

Click the green "Follow" button under the user's profile picture. This turns red and changes to "Unfollow."

Removing the user from your Twitter "Following" list means that you'll no longer receive her Tweets.
