How to Use Hulu on the PS3

Use your PS3 to watch Hulu content.

Your PlayStation 3 isn't just for filling all of your gaming needs -- you can use it to view virtually any television show available online, including those offered through Hulu. The easiest way to use Hulu on your PS3 is to download MediaMall's PlayOn Media Server to a computer that is connected to the same server your PS3 is dialed into. Once you've done this, you'll be watching Hulu content from your PS3 in just a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Download MediaMall's PlayOn Media Server from the company's website, listed in the Resources, to a computer that is connected to the same network as your PS3.

2. Click on the PlayOn icon on your desktop. Click on "User Accounts" and enter your Hulu account information in the Hulu area of the page.

3. Click "Test" to ensure your PlayOn software is connected to your Hulu account. A pop-up message will appear saying your account is connected.

4. Click on the "General Settings" tab within the PlayOn software and click on the "Start" button.

5. Connect your PS3 to your television and plug it in. Turn on your PS3 and navigate to the "Video" section from the main menu.

6. Click on the PlayOn icon in the video menu of your PS3, search for "Hulu" and select the content you would like to view.
