How to Increase Seeding in uTorrent

Once you have completed downloading the files in a torrent, you begin seeding the torrent. That means that you have the full files and distribute them to others. With uTorrent, you can set the rate at which you seed to other users. For example, if your Internet service provider has a bandwidth cap on your account, you will want to seed slowly. You can increase your seeding by setting your transfer rate.

Instructions

1. Click the "Options" menu.

2. Click "Preferences."

3. Click "Bandwidth."

4. Enter a higher value in the "Maximum Upload Rate" field. Enter "0" to have no limit. Click "Apply."
