VirtualDJ is an application which emulates two spinning turntables and a traditional DJ mixer. Music files from a computer's hard disk can be dragged and dropped onto the virtual record players, then tempo synchronized and mixed with others. Virtual DJ uses a traditional serial number or product key to authenticate genuine users during the installation process. If a valid key is not entered during the installation, the application will quit. Restarting it will present the user with the validation box and lock the software until a valid key is entered.
Things You'll Need
- Valid product key
Insert the VirtualDJ disk into the computer drive. Start the installation process when prompted by the installer application. Select a location for the install and allow it to copy across all the relevant files.
Reboot the PC once the install process finishes and double-click the Virtual DJ icon to launch the software. After the splash screen, you will be presented with a dialog box, stating that the application is locked and a valid code is needed to progress.
Enter a valid product key into the dialog box and press the "OK" button. VirtualDJ will check the key against an online resource to determine whether or not the key is valid. If so, the application will validate and unlock. If the code is deemed to be invalid, you will be asked to try again.
Tips & Warnings
- It is necessary to have administrator privileges on the machine you are using in order to unlock Virtual DJ.
- Using anything other than a valid product key is illegal and constitutes software piracy.
