LinkedIn lets you connect with other professionals in your field anywhere around the world.

LinkedIn is an online social media network that lets you connect with others in your same profession, business or business ventures. The service is similar to other social media networks, and requires you to create a login account and set up a profile with your picture and other personal information. LinkedIn is free to join, but certain services do require you to pay a fee. Like other networks, you are able to cancel your LinkedIn account and end your membership with the service.
